c) This service is provided to you at NO COST. You are not going to pay nor obligated to pay us for our Franchise Consultation/Search service.
d) You are NOT OBLIGATED to invest in any of our recommended Franchises unless you want to do so.
e) You will NOT BE CHARGED anything more by the Franchisor for using our service. This is a federally regulated industry. Franchisor cannot charge you extra for using a Franchise Consultant. You will pay the same fees even if you go directly to the Franchisor.
So why not you use our complimentary service for your benefit and save your time, money and sanity ? You have nothing to lose.
Our Process
1) Initial Discussion:
The process starts once either we contact you or
you contact us. During this phase we spend a brief 10-15 minute conversation with you and try to understand your situation and needs.
2) New Franchise Intake Form:
The next step is we ask you to fill-in the
New Franchise Intake form. In this form, you will enter and submit all your information that is relevant to your situation, needs, requirements and lifestyle you are looking for in a Franchise business. All this information is treated confidentially and will be used only for the purpose of finding the right franchise opportunity or service for you.
3) Understanding your needs:
Based on the information you provided in the form, we go over that in detail and try to understand your situation and needs in detail. Then we will contact you and cross-verify the same to make sure that we both are on the same page.
4) Research Process:
This is where we bring greatest value to you. We have access to a huge database with in-depth information about thousands of Franchises which is not easily available on the internet nor provided by the Franchisors. Here is the sample document with

a) As a first step, we use our robust computer search to sift through thousands of Franchises to find ones which fit your needs the most.
b) Then we spend numerous hours digging through that information to find the right franchise opportunity which fits your requirements, location, budget and lifestyle.
c) We also contact the Franchise representatives and spend hours interviewing them to understand their business and get additional information from them.
d) We use all this information to research, analyze and thoroughly vet the Franchises before selecting / recommending them to you.
5) Franchise Selection:
Based on our search & research process, we select the best franchises which not only suit your needs, but are also best in their category. Here are some of the criteria we use to find the right franchises for you.
a) How long the franchise is in business ?
b) How many franchise units they have ? How many of those Franchisee owned and How many are Franchisor owned ?
c) Are their franchises increasing, stabilized or decreasing ?
d) Are their revenues increasing, stabilized or decreasing ? Are they in the upper quadrant in the industry ? What is their Sales to Investment Ratio ?
e) Are their Net Income increasing, stabilized or decreasing? Are they in the upper quadrant in the industry ? What is their Net Income to Sales Ratio ?
f) What territories are available ? And if so, how much competition is around the territory you want apply for ?
g) How soon are existing franchises are getting cash flow positive?
h) How soon are existing franchises are recovering their investments ?
i) Are there any legal cases going on against the Franchisor ? If so what is the nature of those cases.
j) Who are in the management of the Franchise ? What is their experience? Are there any recent changes etc?
6) Show you the selected Franchises:
Then we show you the selected franchises with all the relevant data for you to understand them and compare them. We present you between 3 -5 franchises to compare.
7) Narrow down the selection:
After comparing the recommended franchises, either yourself or with our help you narrow down the ones you like the most.
8) Franchisor Introduction:
Once you have selected the franchises you like the most, we introduce you to the franchise management (Franchisors) you selected.
9) Franchisor Interview:
This is an important step. During this process, you and Franchisor interview each other with all types of questions to see if you both are good fit for each other. At this stage, some Franchisors may want you to provide them information in addition to what you provided earlier. Some Franchisors may still want to do in a old-fashioned way, called as Discovery Day, where they want to meet you in person at their location, showing you their corporate office, staff, model franchise etc so that you both can check out each other to make sure that you are good fit for each other.
10) Franchisor Information:
Once you and Franchisor like each other, Franchisor will provide you with the FDD document and any other relevant FTC mandated information to you so that you can do your due diligence on the Franchise.
11) Due Diligence:
This is a very important step. During this phase, you will thoroughly read, understand and investigate the information provided in the FDD and/or any other documentation provided to you by the Franchisor about the Franchise. You may also need to consult with your spouse, partner, attorney and accountant etc to make an informed decision. During this phase you will also talk and/or visit existing Franchisees to see the franchise for yourself and/or to get information directly from them to make informed decision.
12) Financing:
At this stage you want to make a decision if you want to buy this franchise with your own money if you can, or want to finance it fully or even partially. Some business savvy investors finance the franchise purchase even if they can afford to pay it in full to take advantage of the leverage and get better returns. 13) Decision Time:
So by this time you have decided to buy the Franchise and have your funding ready, then you contact the Franchisor and let them know that you want to move forward with the process. Then Franchisor, will send you some agreements and paper work and asks you to pay the initial Franchise fee.
14) Next Steps:
After paying the initial Franchise Fee, Franchisor will schedule the next steps required in the process such as training, site selection, site build-up (for retail locations), equipment purchase etc.
15) You are in Business !:
Once all the above steps are completed, you will schedule for either a Soft opening or a Grand opening as decided between you and Franchisor and then You are in Business. Experience the security and pleasure of being a successful franchise owner.
16) Time Period:
Depending on the Franchise type, size and operations, this process may take between few weeks to few months. We are there for you through out the process until you open the Franchise.
17) Franchise Support Services:
After you open your Franchise, usually most of the Franchise Support services are supported by your Franchisor. But in some cases if Franchisor doesn't provide such services or if you are not happy with such services and if you need help with any of the Business/Franchise Support services such as Business Strategy, Marketing, HR, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Website, Technology, Payment Systems, etc we can offer those services through our
Franchise Support Services.
